Madurai: Lessle Charles's 64 helped host KLN College of Engineering defeat Raja Engineering College by five wickets in the KLN Krishnan memorial trophy State-level inter-engineering college cricket tournament at the College ground, Potlupatti near here on Saturday.
The scores: Raja Engineering College 104 in 20 overs lost to KLN EC 105 for five in 17.5 overs (Lessle Charles 64).
Match drawn

Railway Institute posts win
Railway Institute beat Pandyan Saraswathy Yadava Engineering College 2-1 in the Madurai DFA `B' division league at D'Nobili MHSS ground, Madurai on Friday. Gunasundar put Institute on the lead in the first half and Jegannathan scored the equaliser for the College early in the second half. Deepan of scored a self-goal just before close to gift a 2-1 victory for Institute. — Sports Correspondent
