Power shutdown for pre-monsoon inspection

VIJAYAWADA : Power will be shut down in five sections of the Southern Power Distribution Company of Andhra Pradesh Limited from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sunday for pre-monsoon inspection.

The sections and areas affected are:

Ramarajya Nagar section - Sitara theatre centre, Cheru centre, Yaddanpudivari st., RTC Workshop Road, Ambedkar Road, Kamakotinagar and RTC Zonal work-shop.

K.G.Market section - Arjun street, Brahmin street, Mallikarjunapet, Upparavagu, Seshaiah street., Thavavari street, Main Bazar, Sivalayam street., and Indria Hospital area.

Governorpet section - Museum Road, area around PWD Grounds, Besant Road, Kaspavari st., Akkulavari st., Prakasam Road, area around Prajasakthi office, sub-collector's office, civil courts, Police quarters, A.S.Ramarao hall and AMIE college.

Suryaraopet section - Rail club and quarter, State guest house, Dornakal Road, Devi Oil Mill Road, Govindarajulu Naidu st., Narasimhanaidu street, Venkataratnam st., Kaleswararao street., Prakasam street., Gopalreddy Road, Police quarters, civil quarters, Nakkala Road, Chiluku Durgaiah street, Eluru Road African Bar area, Officer's Club area, CSI complex and ABC Hospitals.

Krishna Lanka section - Bramarabapuram, Postoffice Road, Pathamedha Bazar, Old Police Station Road, Metla bazaar, Rahman street, Valleruvari street and Stayamgari Hotel area.
