IOB wins a thriller

Chennai: Indian Overseas Bank earned a hard fought win over BPCL in the SRM University invitation volleyball tournament at the University campus, Kattanglathur. IOB won 22-25, 25-21, 19-25, 25-22, 15-11.

In the other matches, Indian Navy beat SDAT 25-21, 25-21, 21-25, 25-19, while Haryana State Industries Development Corporation (HSIDC) defeated Indian Bank 25-20, 25-13, 25-15.

On Thursday, BPCL beat Indian Navy 25-23, 25-22, 25-24, while Indian Bank got the better of Southern Railway Athletics Association 19-25, 25-23, 25-21, 22-25, 20-18.
