Agitate for OBC quota, says former judge

VIJAYAWADA: B.S.A. Swamy, a retired judge of the Andhra Pradesh High Court, has appealed to the members of the backward classes to express their protest against the ruling on reservations for Other Backward Classes (OBCs) .

Justice Swamy, the founder-president of Mahatma Jyothirao Phule Saamajika Nyaya Samstha who is running a magazine called `Mana Pathrika', said at a press conference that several forces were behind the efforts to prevent the OBC reservations.

Justice Swamy said there would be a vociferous protest by all the backwards classes on April 5 during the nation wide strike for which a call was given by various organisations
