Staff Reporter

CHENNAI: Samsung Telecommunications India is carrying out a series of `Samsung E250 Chori Challenge Road Shows" in different parts of the country to showcase the mobile tracker features to consumers.

The last demonstration in Chennai will be held Sunday (April 1) at Citi Centre Mall from 2 p.m. Mobile tracker helps consumers track lost phone. Phones loaded with mobile tracker features will send an SMS to two preset numbers revealing new SIM card numbers to the original owner. The show dares the consumer to steal and win Samsung mobiles that are loaded with security features. If one manages to steal a Samsung E250 without getting caught, they get the phone (worth Rs 8,299) free.

Ryu, managing director, Samsung Telecommunications India, said, "Close to Rs.500 crore worth of mobile phones are lost or stolen annually. Samsung believes that mobile phone consumers rightfully deserve tracking of handsets through associated features."
