Jain community of twin cities takes out special procession to mark the occasion

HYDERABAD: A special procession by members of the Jain community in twin cities was taken out from Feelkhana Jain temple to Nizam College grounds on Saturday morning to mark the 2,606th birthday celebrations of Bhagwan Mahaveer.

The procession passed through M.J. Market, Chapel Road, Basheerbagh before culminating at Nizam College grounds where a series of spiritual discourses of noted Jain monks was lined up.

The spiritual discourse by Vasanth Guruji was the highlight of the evening, according to a press release.
