Thrissur: An exhibition to be held at the Thekkinkad Maidan as part of the Thrissur Pooram celebrations will begin on Monday. Speaker K. Radhakrishnan will inaugurate the exhibition at a function here at 6 p.m. Revenue Minister K.P. Rajendran will preside. Mayor R. Bindu will be the guest of honour. Exhibition committee president K. Manoharan and secretary M. Madhavankutty said 160 stalls would be set up. Jubilee Mission Medical College would set up a pavilion on `Health and medicine.' The exhibition will be open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tickets are priced at Rs.5 each. This is the 44th edition of the exhibition. Thrissur Pooram will be celebrated on April 27.
