UTV ties up with Hewlett-Packard

BANGALORE : UTV, the Indian media and entertainment company, and Hewlett-Packard have announced comprehensive projects in the sector in India. The alliance will enable HP to deploy information technology infrastructure and applications at UTV to achieve cost advantages and derive business benefits in the growing digital animation and media market. Under the contract, HP will work on virtualised storage solutions, blade servers, workstations and IT services, says a release.
