Manipur awaits response from Centre

IMPHAL: The Manipur Government is still awaiting a response from the Union Home Ministry about its request to prevail upon the leaders of the National Socialist Council of Nagaland (Isak-Muivah) to hand over the suspects in the murder of two 10-year-old boys in Senapati district .

Talking to reporters, Chief Minister Okram Ibobi said that since it was certain that the suspects were in the custody of the NSCN (I-M) they should be handed over to the police.
