Two found dead near temple

NIZAMABAD: A person by name Bekiri Srinivas (36) and his paramour Ganga Jamuna's son, Krantikumar (10) of Darpally mandal headquarters were found dead under suspicious circumstances near a temple in the Maddul forest 3 km from the village, on Monday morning.

Srinivas's half-charred body was recovered from the spot and Krantikumar was declared "brought dead" after being shifted to the district headquarter hospital here.

Ganga Jamuna, who was admitted to the hospital with the complaint of taking poison is responding to treatment, according to DSP K. Anjaneyulu.

Srinivas who is survived by two children and wife allegedly developed a relation with 27-year-old Ganga Jamuna, a divorcee.

Based on the complaint given by Ganga Jamuna the Darpally police rushed to the spot on Monday morning only to find Srinivas dead and Krantikumar lying in a pool of blood.

Ms. Jamuna was in an inebriated condition when she arrived at the police station to lodge the complaint that Srinivas murdered her son.
