Karnataka Bank business crosses Rs. 23,500 cr.

MANGALORE: Karnataka Bank has achieved a business turnover of over Rs. 23,500 crore as of March 31, 2007. Unveiling the road map for the current fiscal, Ananthakrishna, Chairman of the bank, said in a release that the bank aimed at achieving incremental business growth of Rs. 5,000 crore comprising Rs. 3,000 crore of deposits and Rs. 2,000 crore of advances to reach a total business turnover of Rs. 28,500 crore (Rs. 17,000 crore deposits and Rs. 11,500 crore advances) by March 2008.
