Camp for palate deformities

ANANTAPUR: Anantapur Club, in association with SDM College of Dental Sciences and Hospital, Dharwad (Karnataka), is organising a health camp for free surgical correction of cleft lip and palate deformities on April 6 on the club premises here.

A team of doctors from the Karnataka college and hospital will check patients with cleft lip and palate deformities and refer the cases needing surgical intervention to the hospital in Dharwad, where they will operated upon on the date given by the hospital.

The patients with one attendant will be provided with free boarding and lodging facility in Dharwad when they go there for surgery, secretary of the club B.M. Gandhi Reddy said here on Tuesday. The health camp will be held from 9.30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
