Three car-borne youths stop private dairy vehicle and flee with cash

GUNTUR: In a daylight highway robbery in Guntur in A.P., three youths decamped with Rs.30 lakh from a vehicle of Hema Dairy, when it was carrying cash for disbursement to farmerson Tuesday.

The driver of the vehicle withdrew Rs.30 lakh from two banks and was proceeding towards Vinukonda. A car without a number plate overtook his vehicle and stopped in front. The youths in the car reportedly got into the dairy vehicle by wielding guns. They blindfolded the driver and drove the vehicle and stopped it near a cemetery , abandoned the dairy vehicle and got into their car that was following them. The police formed search and Clues teams and requisitioned dog squads.
