Board chiefs to meet
Karachi: The cricket board chiefs of Pakistan, India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh will meet in the summer resort of Bhurban in Pakistan next month to constitute the organising committee for the 2011 World Cup to be co-hosted by the four South Asian Test playing nations.
Saleem Altaf, who is in charge of the cell for the organisation of the 2008 Champions Trophy and 2011 World Cup in Pakistan, said the May 18-19 meeting was important, as it would signal the start of serious preparations for the mega event.
``All formalities and arrangements have been completed for the meeting which will be the first for the heads of the four boards," he said. PTI
