New Delhi: Nepal on Tuesday made a strong pitch for inclusion of China as a member of the eight-nation SAARC. Prime Minister G.P. Koirala underpinned the importance of expansion of SAARC with China's inclusion, during an interaction of SAARC leaders with President A.P.J. Abdul Kalam at Rashtrapati Bhavan. China along with South Korea, Japan, the United States and the European Union has been invited for the first time as an observer to the two-day summit which commenced on Tuesday. PTI
