Asks TDP to prove that State misused power to favour YSR's son

NALLALINGAYAPALLE (KADAPA DT.): Undavalli Arun Kumar, Congress MP, has said he would quit politics if Telugu Desam Party president N. Chandrababu Naidu proved that YSR Foundation chairman Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy was favoured in allotment of land for Raghuram Cements Ltd.

"I will quit if Mr. Naidu proved that the Government misused powers to favour Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy's son," he said, while on a fact-finding mission on Tuesday. At the same time, he will prove how Mr. Naidu sold away lands worth Rs. 736 crores to 17 public sector companies for Rs. 239.35 crores while in power, he said.

Addressing farmers of Nallalingayapalle, Pandillapalle, Agastyalingayapalle, Thippalur, Chadipiralla, T. Sunkesula, J. Kothapalle, Jambalapuram and Thurakapalle villages, G. Veerasiva Reddy, Kamalapuram MLA, said he would resign from the Assembly if Mr. Naidu or Rajya Sabha member M.V. Mysoora Reddy proved that farmers' lands were taken away forcibly.
