HGA forms Junior Golf Foundation

HYDERABAD: The Hyderabad Golf Association has formed Junior Golf Foundation for the benefit of the enthusiastic youngsters from the city, according to G.S. Krishnan, chief instructor at the Golconda Course here.

Krishnan informed the media that the Foundation, run by the parents and members of the HGA and inviting any philanthropists to create a corpus fund, would take care of the expenditure for any talented golfer willing to take part in outstation events.

The HGA will conduct the annual summer coaching camp at the Golconda Course from April 15 to May 13 in different age groups.

Handball trials

Trials to select the district under-15 boys' and under-12 girls' handball teams will be held at the Municipal Corporation stadium at Visakhapatnam from 4.45 p.m. on April 6.

State-level volleyabll

The BHEL Volleyball Players Association will organise a State-level volleyball tournament at its Community Centre Grounds in Hyderabad from April 5 to 8.
