MLA gives away motors to 27 SC farmers

KADAPA: G. Veerasiva Reddy, Kamalapuram MLA, gave away electrical motors to 27 farmers belonging to Scheduled Castes on behalf of District SC Service Cooperative Society in Vibharapuram village in Kamalapuram mandal on Tuesday.

SC beneficiaries in Kamalapuram constituency were granted financial assistance of Rs. 50 lakhs this year, corporation's executive director B. Anil Kumar Reddy said at the function. Fifty-seven acres of land would be purchased with an outlay of Rs. 30 lakhs for distribution among 60 SC beneficiaries in Vibharapuram, G. Appayapalle and Podadurthy villages in the constituency, the ED said.
