HASSAN: Three persons died on the spot when their motorcycle collided with a lorry near Basavana Gate in Arsikere taluk at 9.30 p.m. on Monday night. The names of the victims were given as Jayanna (35), Venkatesh (30) both from Mathighatta in Kadur taluk of Chikmagalur district and Basavaraju (22) from Chikkajjikatti village in Arsikere taluk of Hassan district. They were on their way to Chikkajjikatti to attend a social function when their motorcycle collided with the lorry that was heading to Bangalore from Shimoga.
