New channel

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM:
Malayalam Communications is launching its third channel, `WE' from Kochi on April 15.
Malayalam Communications chairman Mammootty told reporters here on Tuesday that the 24-hour channel would focus on programmes for the youth. Youth form almost 60 per cent of the population and the new channel would dish out a fare comprising music, entertainment and film-based programmes. `WE' would be a wholesome entertainment channel with programmes reciprocating the aspirations of the youth. It would make a foray into almost all areas of interest to the youngsters.
The new channel would be launched at Le Meridien Hotel in Kochi at 5.30 p.m. on April 15.
