Second Master Plan next week

CHENNAI : The Chennai Metropolitan Development Authority (CMDA) will upload the Second Master Plan for the city on its website by next week. Hard copies of the plan, which was cleared by the State Government on March 30, would also be made available by then.

Officials said this would be followed by a public consultation for a minimum of 60 days. Suggestions would be sought from the public as well as members of a High Court-appointed monitoring committee and civil society representatives, the officials added.
