Novelties galore

The function that the SIDCO is organising for laying the foundation stone of its laboratory equipment unit at Parumala on April 5 has many unusual features. One is that it is being organised in the compound of another SIDCO unit — its strawboard factory. Another is that it is among the programmes being organised to mark the 50th anniversary of the first E.M.S Government. The third is that the plot on which the factory itself was set up came as a gift from Appukuttan Adissar.
