Staff Reporter

BANGALORE: Two persons suffered head injuries after the dome of a chariot crashed on them near Sri Dharamaraya Swamy temple in Ulsoor Gate police station limits the early hours of Tuesday.

Police said that after the Karaga procession ended, devotes were pulling the chariot of the temple.

Around 3.15 a.m., the dome of the chariot came in contact with a cable.

The dome fell on three persons, who were pushing a generator trolley behind the chariot.

Two of them, Suresh (22) and Krishna (35), suffered minor head injuries.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (Central) G.B. Chebbi told The Hindu that the chariot was not part of the Karaga procession as reported in a section of the media.
