Three-year-old boy killed in accident
A three-year-old boy Ibrahim died on Tuesday when the autorickshaw he was travelling in with his parents overturned at Boggulakunta.
The boy's father Mahmood was taking his family members to bus stand to catch a bus to Gulbarga when the accident occurred, the Abids police said.
Mechanic falls to death
A mechanic -- Mohd. Annan -- who was fixing air conditioners in Gruhakalpa building at Nampally died after slipping down from fifth floor on Tuesday night.
A resident of Mallepally, the victim was called in to install air conditioners in the Co-operative Registrar's office located on third, fourth and fifth floors of the building.
According to the police, he was arranging air conditioner in a window on fifth floor when he accidentally slipped down and fell on the portico of first floor around 7 p.m. He died on the spot.
The police registered a case.
Rs. 1. 29 lakhs seized in raid
The Vanasthalipuram police on Tuesday arrested a real estate businessman Bhaskar Reddy, 40, and six others on charge of playing three cards game with heavy betting in Hasthinapuram.
Eight mobile phones and
three cars belonging to them were also seized, the police said.
