City RTC buses may go off the road today

Staff Reporter

Hyderabad: In view of the Statewide bandh called by the Backward Classes on Wednesday, the city buses may go off the road in the twin cities, according to City Regional Manager of APSRTC C. Pandu Ranga Murthy, here on Tuesday.

Operation of the services would be resumed after reviewing the situation.

"The decision to keep the buses off the roads is taken keeping in view the all-party support to the bandh. Owing to the bandh, the region would incur a loss of Rs. 1.2 crores on Wednesday," said Mr. Murthy.
