Bootleggers nabbed
NEW DELHI:
Six people have been arrested from different parts of South Delhi on charges of bootlegging. The police claim to have recovered 4,600 bottles and seized three vehicles during the operations conducted this week.
Mange Ram and Narender Singh were arrested at Sainik Farm on Monday. In another case, the police arrested Ram Balak and Rajesh Kumar at Srinivaspuri on Sunday. Two more persons, Neeraj Tyagi and Shiv Kumar, were arrested at Sangam Vihar.
Racket smashed
NEW DELHI:
Six persons including three women have been arrested at Mandawali here on charges of running a prostitution racket.
Acting on a tip-off that some persons were running a sex racket from a Mandawali house, the police sent a decoy to strike a deal. As soon as the deal was struck, the police raided the place and arrested six persons.
