KOLKATA: Tripura shocked Assam by seven wickets and Bengal moved to the top of the table with a hard-earned 12-run win over Jharkhand in the second round of the East Zone Twenty20 tournament at the Eden Gardens here on Wednesday. For both Assam and Jharkhand, Wednesday's loss was second in a row in the five-team league. Chasing Bengal's 188, Jharkhand was cruising along nicely with opener Sourav Tiwary and No. 3 M.S. Dhoni putting on 103 in 10 overs. Bengal captain Manoj Tiwary brought himself on and turned the match in host's favour by removing both. Jharkhand ended at 175 in 20 overs. Tiwary, who top-scored with 58 off 31 balls with nine 4s, took three for 19. Assam, put in, was bundled out for 82 in 15.4 overs. Tripura opener Ansul Lamba ensured his team's victory by scoring an unbeaten 48. The scores: Bengal 187 for seven in 20 overs (R. Gavaskar 47, M. Tiwary 58, A.
