Suryakiran team to enthral Belgaum

Belgaum: The legendary Suryakiran Formation Aerobatic Team (SKAT) from Air Force Station, Bidar, will here on Friday to thrill the people of Belgaum.

The daredevils of SKAT were here in December 2005 on the occasion of diamond jubilee of Belgaum Military School.

The SKAT pilots will present some of the most spectacular and hair-rising formations in air on the occasion of the 13th Post War Reunion of Maratha Light Infantry Regimental Centre.

The venue to view the air show has been made at the open grounds opposite Military Ganapati Mandir on Hindalga Road.

Arrangements

The show will start at 10.45 a.m., MLIRC sources told The Hindu on Wednesday. Arrangements for both defence and civilian public have been made at the venue.

The Suryakiran team has enthralled crowds from Srinagar down to Thiruvananthapuram and even beyond to Sri Lanka.

On the romantic note, the arrow through the heart carved out by Synchro pair virtually pierces the audience and is truly the icing on the cake.
