kozhikode: The Nadakkavu regional committee of the Vyapari Vyavasayi Ekopana Samithi will meet at the district committee office here at 3 p.m. on Friday to chalk out its agitation programmes following the acquisition of land from Mananchira to Vellimadukunnu for the construction of six-lane road on National Highway 212.

Action committee chairman U. Abdurehiman said in a press release here on Wednesday that the authorities had decided to acquire lands without consulting the affected merchants and house owners.
