Results announced

The results of first to final year BNYS (RS) batch examinations conducted in February/March 2007 have been released. According to a press release from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, details such as marks secured in each subject, class obtained, result and names of the colleges are available on "www.rguhs.ac.in".

Water adalat

The Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage Board will hold a "water adalat" on Thursday between 9.30 a.m. and 11 a.m. at the office of Assistant Executive Engineer of North1, sub-division, Malleswaram, to solve problems of customers coming under Yeshwanthpur, Srirampuram and Malleswaram service station limits. B.H. Anil Kumar, IAS, has been posted as Mangaing Director, Karnataka Soaps and Detergents Ltd. His posting as Commissioner for Department of Social Welfare stands cancelled. H.V. Parashwanth has been posted as secretary, Karnataka Public Service Commission, an official press release said.

PF adalat

The Employees Provident Fund Organisation, Ministry of Labour, has organised a Bhavishya Nidhi Adalat on April 10 for the benefit of PF subscribers and members at the office of Regional Provident Fund Commissioner on Raja Rammohun Roy Road from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Details of grievances, indicating name, address, correct PF code number and account number, employer's details should reach the office by April 9. Music competition

All India Priyadarshini Social Welfare Centre will conduct a music and dance competition on May 24 and 26 respectively for amateur youth artistes. Participants can chose between light music, devotional songs and folk music for the singing competition, which will be conducted at Ravindra Kalakshetra in junior (for those below 14 years) and senior (above 14 years) categories. The dance competition will be organised at Town Hall. On the occasion, Priyadarshini and Kempe Gowda awards — instituted by the centre — would be presented, association general secretary Issac D.
