Arrested advocate's house searched

Staff Reporter

Police charged with implicating him in false cases

HYDERABAD: The Warangal district police, which arrested advocate Ch. Prabhakar on charge of aiding and abetting Maoists, searched his house at Amberpet in city with the assistance of local police on Wednesday.

They took the advocate's family members into custody and brought them to the Amberpet police station for questioning.

Gadar's visit

On learning about this, balladeer Gadar went to the police station and picked up an argument with the police accusing them of harassing Prabhakar's family members in the name of investigation. The police, however, let off the advocate's family members after completing their inquiries. Speaking to reporters, Prabhakar's wife Shailaja charged the police with implicating her husband in false cases.
