Commercial Tax Department workers protest

HYDERABAD: The Joint Action Committee of Commercial Taxes Department Officers and Employees wore black badges in protest against the proposed reforms in the Commercial Tax Department administration and against setting up of Central Registration unit in Hyderabad.

The administration is proposing to centralise the powers, functions and responsibilities by merging the circle offices without consulting the recognised service organisations, said APCT NGO's Association president K.R. Suryanarayana, in a press release here on Wednesday.
