KOCHI: The Advertising Club of Cochin will give awards for best advertisements in various categories in the South Indian region.

A function to distribute the awards will be held in Kochi on May 11.

The creative awards event will be called Pepper-2007. The award distribution ceremony will be an annual event, according to K.Venugopal, president of Cochin Ad Club.

The categories for the competition include multimedia campaigns, press campaigns, TV, radio advertising and outdoor campaigns.

The winners will be presented with gold, silver and bronze awards and certificates. The entries for the competition will be evaluated by a team of top notch professionals, according to Madhava Menon, Secretary of the club.
