KOLKATA: Indian Airlines steamrollered Calcutta Customs 8-1 while former champion BSF thrashed Punjab SC 5-1 in the second round of the quarterfinal league matches in the Indian Oil 112th all-India Beighton Cup hockey tournament here on Thursday. The other match between SAI Training Centre and BNR was won 4-3 by the former. In the BSF-Punjab SC match, Mukhjinder Singh (third and 51st), Ranjit Singh (ninth and 59th) and Harpreet Singh (69th) did the scoring for BSF. William Masis reduced the margin in the 58th minute. In a battle between two local sides, the SAI boys surprised BNR by the odd goal in seven. Deepak Soreng (13th), Theodor Baa (32nd) and Sunil Kujur (45th and 61st) scored for SAI while Leonard Bilung (fifth), Cornelius Kullu (31st) and Rajat Minz (67th) were successful for the Railway outfit.
