In women's recurve event, Dola Banerjee, Sushma and Chekrovolu Swuro defeated Spain's Beatriz Cabrero, Magali Foulon, Almudena Gallardo (208-200) convincingly to reach the second round. But, in the next round, the Indians were outplayed (197-211) by the Koreans.

Later, they were tamed by Jahna Davis, Joayn Fleury and Jamie Van Natta (212-216) in the second round.
