VIJAYAWADA : The Women Empowerment Forum of K.B.N. College will be organising a 40-day free training camp for women at the Sri Raja Suraneni Venkata Papaiah Rao College of Education, Gandhi Nagar, from March 11.

Addressing a press conference here on Thursday, KBN College secretary and correspondent T. Srinivasu said the training courses were aimed at empowering women and helping them find self-employment.

In addition, training in spoken English would be a major attraction for the homemakers, he said.

The camp was being organised this time at Gandhi Nagar for the benefit of women residing in Satyanarayanapuram, Gandhi Nagar and nearby places.
