KOLLAM: The Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) has described the stay by the Supreme Court on 27 per cent reservation for Other Backward Class students in higher educational institutions as a "cruel challenge on democracy." In a statement here, BSP district president P.T. Prasanna Kumar said the verdict, which affected 52 per cent of the nation's population, was a conspiracy to corner the backward classes. — Staff Reporter
