Plea to appoint SC panel to look into Dalits' issue

CHITTOOR: Rajya Sabha Member Durga Ramakrishna has demanded that the Government appoint SC Commission to look into the problems of the Dalits.

MLA Kuthulamma urged Dalits to emulate late Ambedkar and Babu Jagjivan Ram. Newly-elected MLC R. Gopinath has assured that he strive for the uplift of the Dalits. Municipal Chairperson Sarala Mary has asked the Dalits to utilise several schemes being implemented by the Government and improve their economic standards.
