KORAPUT: The restrictions imposed by the government vis-à-vis school timings in the State notwithstanding, the Kendriya Vidyalaya here is functioning up to 2 p.m. It may be recalled that the government directed school managements to conduct classes only up to 10.30 a.m. in view of the torrid time the State was likely to experience this summer . It even warned the heads of institutions against violating the order. While most of the schools restructured their timings, the Kendriya Vidyalaya was yet to follow suit. Principal C. Aliveni said she was yet to receive orders to that effect from its regional office at Bhubaneswar.
