Bar council seminar from April 14

CUTTACK: Legal luminaries of the country are set to deliberate on `media trial' at a national seminar here on April 14 and 15.

The seminar is being arranged under the aegis of the Bar Council of India and the Orissa State Bar Council.

It will also dwell on topics like `Role of Bar in the administration of justice' and

`The legal education and the future vision of the profession'.

Large participation

Chief Justice of India Justice K.G. Balakrishnan will inaugurate the seminar. Supreme Court judge Justice Arijit Pasayat and a host of other judges from several high courts would attend, says J.K. Samantsinghar, secretary of the State bar council.

Union Law Minister H.R. Bharadwaj and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik have also given their consent to address the seminar.
