Power Grievances Cell to function daily

NEW DELHI:
The Public Grievances Cell of the Delhi Government's Power Department, set up for registering power-related complaints from consumers, will now function all seven days of the week including holidays. The working hours of Cell have also been extended and consumers can now register grievances from 8-30 a.m. to 6-30 p.m. from Monday to Saturday and from 9-30 a.m. to 5 p.m. every second Saturday and Sunday and on public holidays.
Complaints can be registered through the website, telephone, in person, as well as through post. Since its inception in January this year, the Cell has registered a total of 3,765 grievances, of which 2,582 grievances have been resolved. The decision has been taken following feedback from consumers.
