CHENNAI: A. Kalimullah Khan, IPS, Superintendent of Police, Enforcement, Chennai, has been promoted and posted as Deputy Inspector General of Police, Madurai Range, Madurai, in the place of N. Chenbaharaman, IPS, Deputy Inspector General of Police, who has been posted as Crime Branch CID, SIT, Chennai.

Shailesh Kumar Yadav, IPS, Superintendent of Police, on deputation with the Government of India, has been promoted as Deputy Inspector General of Police without prejudice to his deputation.

R. Arumugam, IPS, Superintendent of Police, NIB CID, Chennai, has been promoted and posted as Deputy Inspector-General of Police, Armed Police, Chennai.
