Course for electricians

Instruct will conduct a six-day vocational course for building electricians in May. A release said the course would benefit individuals, students, and unskilled workers in construction industry. Results announced

The Bangalore University has announced the results of B.Com first and second year examinations held in November/ December 2006. A release has asked the principals to collect the result sheets from the examination branch, Central College campus. The last date for the colleges to submit revaluation applications, if any, to the university is April 13 without penal fee and April 21 with penal fee. Details can be had on phone 22961217.

BESCOM meet

The Bangalore Electricity Supply Company has organised "Jana Samparka Sabha' or grievance redressal meeting on April 9, 16, 23 and 30 for consumers of C1 sub-division. Consumers in Prakashnagar, Dr. Rajkumar Road, 4th N Block, Subramanyanagar, Gayathrinagar, 2nd Stage Rajajinagar, Okalipuram, Srirampuram, Maruthi Extension, Devaiah Park, Mariyappanapalya and surrounding areas may attend the sabhas.

People can make use of Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation's call centre by dialling numbers 12667 and 22108304 for making enquires, air grievances and giving suggestions between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m.

BSNL open house

The BSNL will conduct open house sessions at all the offices of the area managers and deputy general manager (rural) of BSNL, Bangalore Telecom District, on Saturday at 10 a.m. A release said that BSNL customers could get their grievances redressed.
