Abducted boy rescued
According to the police, Bimla Devi had filed a complaint that her son, Prince, had gone missing from a park near her house on March 17. A week later, the kidnappers made a call to the family and demanded Rs. 10 lakh for his safe release. However, to trap them the kidnappers were given the contact number of the investigating officer of the case for further communication. The subsequent calls made by the kidnappers were traced to Deoria in Uttar Pradesh and Chhapra in Bihar. The possible hideouts of the kidnappers were then raided. In view of the police pressure, the kidnappers abandoned Prince at the Deoria railway station and fled. The boy was brought to the Capital on Tuesday.
