MOSCOW: The ruling coalition in Ukraine's Parliament voted on Friday to repeal its decision to induct 11 turncoats from Opposition parties, which had triggered an acute political crisis in the former Soviet state. The move pulls the rug from under the feet of President Viktor Yushchenko who on Monday decreed to dissolve the Verhovna Rada and call parliamentary poll on May 27, accusing the majority coalition of violating the Constitution by recruiting Opposition members to its ranks. The banning of Parliament was seen as an attempt by the pro-Western President to take a revenge for the setback of the 2004 "orange revolution" in last year's parliamentary poll, which installed his pro-Russian rival Viktor Yanukovich as Premier.
