Isolated rain in coastal T.N.

CHENNAI: Rainfall occurred at a few places over Kerala and Lakshadweep.

Isolated rainfall occurred over coastal Tamil Nadu.Mainly dry weather prevailed over north interior Karnataka and dry weather prevailed over interior Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, coastal and south interior Karnataka.

On Saturday, the maximum temperature fell at one or two places over Tamil Nadu, coastal Karnataka, north coastal Andhra Pradesh and changed little elsewhere over the region.

Nizamabad recorded the highest maximum temperature of 42 degree Celsius in the region.

Forecast (Valid until Tuesday morning): Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at a few places over Kerala and Lakshadweep. Isolated rain or thundershowers are likely to occur over Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, south coastal Andhra Pradesh and interior Karnataka.

Mainly dry weather will prevail over north coastal Andhra Pradesh, Rayalaseema, Telangana and coastal Karnataka.

Outlook for Subsequent Two Days: No significant change.
