MUMBAI: Avtar Singh helped EME edge out Southern Railway 6-5 in the sudden-death after the tie-breaker ended with both teams locked 5-5 at the Bombay Gold Cup hockey on Sunday. Avtar had converted a penalty stroke earlier in the tie-breaker as EME moved into the second round in the first phase of knockout. PSEB powered past Chhattisgarh XI 5-2 in another match.
