Manipuri militants held in Kolkata

KOLKATA: The arrest of two senior operatives of the banned Manipuri extremist outfit, the PREPAK, from a hotel here on Sunday and two more of their colleagues from Imphal the previous day, have led to apprehensions that Kolkata could be becoming a haven for the extremists.

The two held in Imphal had just arrived from Kolkata.

A self-styled captain and a lieutenant of the outfit were planning to get away from the city when they were arrested
