Sikhs to celebrate Baisakhi on April 14

HYDERABAD:
The Sikh community of the twin cities will celebrate Baisakhi festival, also known as Khalsa Panth foundation day celebration, on April 14.
Scores of devotees and community members from other faiths will converge for vishal deewan (mass congregation) at the Sri Guru Gobind Singh municipal playgrounds, Ameerpet, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Nagar keertan
A huge nagar keertan or holy procession will be taken out from Gurudwara Saheb, Ameerpet, according to a release from the Prabhandak Committee, Gurudwara Saheb.
It will pass through Ameerpet, Greenlands, Begumpet, Monappa Islands, Punjagutta and return to the gurudwara at 10 p.m.
