WATERMELONS FOR SUMMER: Owing to the rising temperature in Hassan this summer, people are queing up to buy watermelons. A medium-size fruit costs between Rs. 30 and Rs. 40. The fruit is grown in Shanti Grama, Chennaraypatna, Shravanabelagola, and Sal igame, all in Hassan district.
